Skin overview

This is the most worn grade the Terrain finish reaches on the Negev, since its float range stops at Well-Worn. The turquoise is visibly broken up on the receiver, magazine and grips, with more exposed metal showing through. The overall teal and grey impression remains, now with a rugged, used field look.

Item type: machinegun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The finish covers the Negev in alternating streaks of turquoise and dark grey-brown that follow the length of the gun like layers of ground. The receiver and barrel shroud carry the densest mix of both colours, while the front of the barrel and the muzzle stay mostly dark with turquoise patches.

Wear covers all edges and raised parts and spreads into the flat surfaces of the receiver and magazine. The foregrip and muzzle show large areas of bare metal. In game the turquoise looks broken and less bright, but the teal and grey scheme is still recognisable. The stock, already mostly dark, changes the least.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Negev | Terrain ranges from 0 to 0.45; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 16% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Negev | Terrain belongs to The Phoenix Collection, which holds 13 skins.

The source is Operation Phoenix Weapon Case (on sale since Feb 19, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Teal, green and dark grey stickers blend with the terrain streaks, while gold or white accents stand out against them. The flat sides of the receiver and the magazine give the most visible placements.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within its wear, since edges and the muzzle show the difference first.
  • Look at the foregrip and magazine rims, which lose paint earlier than the rest of the gun.
  • Remember the float range ends at Well-Worn, so this is the most worn look available.
  • Check applied stickers and name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir copy.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Fans of a rugged, used field look.
  • Budget entry into the Terrain finish.
  • The roughest version available, still recognisable in teal and grey.
