Skin overview

Nova | Red Quartz is a shotgun skin with a deep red-brown metallic finish broken up by a crystalline pattern. In Factory New the coating is at its most even, so the metallic depth of the crystals reads cleanly from the barrel to the stock. This is the grade for buyers who want the finish exactly as intended.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The barrel, receiver and magazine tube are covered in a dark red-brown metallic coat with a mottled crystalline pattern, closer to copper and rust than to bright red. The pump forearm stays in a dark gunmetal grey with its ribbed grooves, giving a cool contrast to the warm metal around it.

The metallic coat is complete on every part, with no visible marks on the sights, muzzle or stock edges. The crystalline pattern keeps full contrast against the grey pump. In game the gun reads as a uniform dark red-copper shape with a clean sheen. Everything looks as shown on the reference image.

Factory New quality — float range 0–0.07

The float of Souvenir Nova | Red Quartz ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Factory New quality covers 0–0.07 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The 2021 Train Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Gold, copper and holo stickers in warm tones blend well with the red-brown metallic finish. Dark grey or black stickers placed on the receiver echo the gunmetal pump. Bright blue or green accents create contrast but can look out of place on the mineral theme.
