Show allAllSkin overview
This Nova finish combines a rust-red metallic surface with a crystal mask pattern that gives the gun a mineral, rocky look. In Field-Tested the edges start to show lighter worn spots, but the dark crystalline texture hides much of it. Because the pattern is already busy, this grade keeps most of the character of the skin.
Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Anodized Multicolored: several colours in the metal coating; it wears little, the colours only dull with use.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear and Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Field-Tested
The barrel, receiver and magazine tube are covered in a dark red-brown metallic coat with a mottled crystalline pattern, closer to copper and rust than to bright red. The pump forearm stays in a dark gunmetal grey with its ribbed grooves, giving a cool contrast to the warm metal around it.
Wear spreads along the muzzle, sights and receiver edges, and the rear edge of the stock begins to show lighter rubbed areas. The crystalline texture loses some of its metallic depth in these spots. In game the overall colour still reads clearly, with worn areas noticeable mainly in the first-person view. The sides of the stock and the central part of the receiver mostly keep their finish.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The float of Souvenir Nova | Red Quartz ranges from 0 to 0.4; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 57% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
Souvenir Nova | Red Quartz belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, copper and holo stickers in warm tones blend well with the red-brown metallic finish. Dark grey or black stickers placed on the receiver echo the gunmetal pump. Bright blue or green accents create contrast but can look out of place on the mineral theme.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits inside its grade, since low-float copies keep the muzzle and sights noticeably cleaner.
- Inspect the receiver edges and the rear edge of the stock, as these lose paint first.
- Souvenir copies come with stickers already applied, so check whether they suit the red-brown finish.
- Look at any name tag or added stickers to make sure they match how you want the gun to look.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want this Nova for everyday use and accept some edge wear.
- Buyers who like that the busy crystal pattern masks rubbing.
- In short: a balanced middle option that keeps the skin's character.
