Skin overview

Red Quartz dresses the Nova in a dark copper-red tone with a crystallised texture and a gunmetal pump. In Minimal Wear the finish looks practically the same as a fresh copy in game, and only a close inspection shows tiny marks on the edges. It is a sensible way to get the clean look without paying for the top grade.

Item type: shotgun. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The barrel, receiver and magazine tube are covered in a dark red-brown metallic coat with a mottled crystalline pattern, closer to copper and rust than to bright red. The pump forearm stays in a dark gunmetal grey with its ribbed grooves, giving a cool contrast to the warm metal around it.

Small specks of wear can appear on the muzzle and the front sight, sometimes on the top edge of the receiver. They are tiny and blend into the mottled pattern. At normal distance in game the skin looks the same as Factory New. The stock, pump and sides of the receiver remain clean.

Souvenir Nova | Red Quartz belongs to The 2021 Train Collection, which holds 17 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Gold, copper and holo stickers in warm tones blend well with the red-brown metallic finish. Dark grey or black stickers placed on the receiver echo the gunmetal pump. Bright blue or green accents create contrast but can look out of place on the mineral theme.
