Souvenir Nova | Tempest (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This is the most common way to see the Tempest: a navy Nova with a light grey-blue wave and cloud motif concentrated on the furniture. Minimal Wear keeps the pattern almost untouched, with only faint marks along the edges. It looks nearly the same as Factory New in game and is usually the more practical pick.

Item type: shotgun. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New and Field-Tested. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The Nova is coated in a dark navy hydrographic finish, with pale grey-blue swirling lines forming waves and curling clouds. The pattern is most visible on the receiver and the stock, where the light linework stands out against the deep blue base.

Minimal Wear adds small scratches at the muzzle and along the upper edge of the receiver. The ribs of the pump grip may show tiny light spots where paint has thinned. The stock and the wave motif remain essentially clean. In game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice.

The float of Souvenir Nova | Tempest ranges from 0.06 to 0.22; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 50% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Bravo Collection with 15 skins in total.

It drops from Operation Bravo Case (on sale since Sep 20, 2013).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Blue, silver, white and holo stickers blend with the navy base and pale storm lines. Placements on the receiver keep the wave motif on the stock visible.

What to check before buying

• Compare float within the grade, since the clean ranges are narrow and copies near the lower edge look noticeably tidier.
• Inspect the muzzle, receiver edges and pump ribs, as they lose paint first.
• Check whether stickers or a name tag are applied and whether they fit the blue palette.
• Decide between regular, StatTrak™ and Souvenir copies, as Souvenir versions come with stickers already applied.
