Skin overview

The base design stays recognisable even at its most worn: a steel-toned pistol with red accents and a textured grip. Battle-Scarred shows heavy scuffing on the slide and frame, with much of the red trim reduced to fragments. Since the finish is mostly metallic, the heavy wear blends in and reads as an old service weapon.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The slide is finished in dark gunmetal with a polished silver front around the muzzle, thin red engraved lettering along its side and a block of red vertical stripes at the rear. The frame continues the dark metal tone, with red outlines running along its lower edge, a red trigger and red lining inside the trigger guard.

The slide and frame are heavily scuffed, and much of the red trim remains only as fragments. The grip panels are worn at the edges and the red side insert is patchy. In game the pistol looks like a dark, weathered metal sidearm with traces of red.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.85

The whole float range of Souvenir P250 | Cyber Shell is 0–0.85; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.85 segment (47% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir P250 | Cyber Shell belongs to The Snakebite Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Snakebite Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black and silver stickers fit the skin's palette best, especially when placed on the slide away from the red rear stripes. Holo or foil stickers in cool steel tones work well with the metallic finish.

What to check before buying

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep the red slide stripes and lettering cleaner.
  • Look at the muzzle, the slide edges and the trigger guard, as these are the first places to lose paint.
  • Inspect the copy in game or on a full preview to see how intact the red outlines on the frame and grip are.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag, since they change the look of the slide.

Who should buy Battle-Scarred

  • Players looking for the cheapest entry into this skin.
  • Fans of heavily weathered finishes where the dark metal dominates.
  • In short: the budget pick with a battle-worn look.
