Skin overview

Blind Spot keeps its navy and cyan camouflage recognisable even at the bottom of its range, because the shapes are large and the base colour is dark. The float range of this skin stops early, so Battle-Scarred copies are less damaged than on finishes that go all the way down. Expect heavy scuffing on the grip and edges, with the camouflage still holding on the flat sides.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, stock and grip are painted in a dark navy base covered with oversized cyan and light blue camouflage blotches, broken up by smaller orange-red patches. The top rail and sight area carry the lighter blue tones, while the lower body and the grip loops stay mostly navy with pale grey streaks.

The grip loops and trigger opening are heavily scuffed, and paint is worn through on most raised edges of the receiver and the front end. Because the range ends early, the flat sides of the stock and body still hold much of the camouflage. In game the P90 reads as a navy and blue weapon with rough, greyed edges. It is the most worn look available, but not a stripped one.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.5

The whole float range of Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot is 0–0.5; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.5 segment (10% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot belongs to The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, which holds 12 skins.

The source is eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in blue, white or orange tones pick up the camouflage colours and blend into the pattern. Holo or foil stickers with blue and orange accents work well on the flat side of the receiver, where the large blotches leave room. Stickers in green or yellow tend to clash with the navy base.

What to check before buying

  • Look at the edges of the grip loops first, since this is where paint loss shows earliest.
  • Check the float position within the wear grade, as a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn can look close to the grade above.
  • Compare the placement of the cyan and orange blotches on the receiver side, because the hydrographic pattern sits differently from copy to copy.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match the navy and blue colour scheme.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

  • The most budget-minded buyers who want the skin for play.
  • Players who like heavy wear but still want the camouflage to remain on the sides.
  • The lowest-cost way to own the finish with its look largely intact.
