Skin overview

The skin is recognisable by its large camouflage shapes in cyan and orange over a navy body, with the copper-toned magazine running along the top. In Minimal Wear the colours stay saturated and the few marks sit mostly on the edges of the grip loops. At normal viewing distance it reads almost the same as the cleanest grade.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, stock and grip are painted in a dark navy base covered with oversized cyan and light blue camouflage blotches, broken up by smaller orange-red patches. The top rail and sight area carry the lighter blue tones, while the lower body and the grip loops stay mostly navy with pale grey streaks.

Small specks of lost paint may appear on the outer edges of the grip loops and around the trigger opening. The receiver, stock sides and top rail stay clean. In game these marks are practically invisible, and the colours keep their full saturation. The buyer gets nearly the same look at a lower grade.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 16% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot belongs to The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, which holds 12 skins.

The source is eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, white or orange tones pick up the camouflage colours and blend into the pattern. Holo or foil stickers with blue and orange accents work well on the flat side of the receiver, where the large blotches leave room. Stickers in green or yellow tend to clash with the navy base.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the edges of the grip loops first, since this is where paint loss shows earliest.
  • Check the float position within the wear grade, as a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn can look close to the grade above.
  • Compare the placement of the cyan and orange blotches on the receiver side, because the hydrographic pattern sits differently from copy to copy.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match the navy and blue colour scheme.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

  • Players who want a near-clean P90 without paying for the top grade.
  • Crafters for whom tiny marks on the grip edges do not matter.
  • A balanced pick with almost no visible compromise.
