Skin overview

Blind Spot relies on big, simple colour blocks, and that makes it tolerant of moderate wear. In Field-Tested the navy, cyan and orange camouflage is still easy to read, while scuffs on the grip and edges add a used, field-worn character. It suits a camouflage finish rather than spoiling it.

Item type: smg. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, stock and grip are painted in a dark navy base covered with oversized cyan and light blue camouflage blotches, broken up by smaller orange-red patches. The top rail and sight area carry the lighter blue tones, while the lower body and the grip loops stay mostly navy with pale grey streaks.

Scuffs spread along the grip loops and the trigger opening, and light wear appears on the upper edges of the receiver and near the barrel. The flat sides of the stock and receiver keep the camouflage mostly intact. In game the pattern reads clearly, with the worn edges noticeable only on close inspection of the view model. The large colour blocks hide much of the damage.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot ranges from 0 to 0.5; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 46% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir P90 | Blind Spot belongs to The eSports 2013 Winter Collection, which holds 12 skins.

It drops from eSports 2013 Winter Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in blue, white or orange tones pick up the camouflage colours and blend into the pattern. Holo or foil stickers with blue and orange accents work well on the flat side of the receiver, where the large blotches leave room. Stickers in green or yellow tend to clash with the navy base.

What to look at before you buy

  • Look at the edges of the grip loops first, since this is where paint loss shows earliest.
  • Check the float position within the wear grade, as a low float in Field-Tested or Well-Worn can look close to the grade above.
  • Compare the placement of the cyan and orange blotches on the receiver side, because the hydrographic pattern sits differently from copy to copy.
  • Check applied stickers and the name tag so they match the navy and blue colour scheme.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who play the P90 often and want the camouflage readable in game.
  • Buyers who like a slightly used look on a camouflage finish.
  • The sensible middle ground for everyday use.
