Skin overview

Crazy 8 keeps its idea even when heavily used: a violet barrel, a dark cylinder and a wooden grip marked with a large 8. In Battle-Scarred the purple is broken up by scratches and bare metal, and the painted 8 looks faded and chipped. It is the entry grade for those who want the design and do not mind a weathered look.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel and the front of the frame are painted violet with blue and pink shifts, with small black marks such as crosses drawn over the paint. The top rail, cylinder and trigger guard stay dark gunmetal, and the cylinder carries light chevron markings between the flutes.

The violet paint is heavily scratched across the whole barrel, with wide bare metal areas at the front and along the rail. The cylinder chevrons are mostly worn away, and the 8 on the grip is faded with chips in the outline. In game the revolver reads as a worn purple-and-dark weapon rather than a bright one. The general colour layout and the shape of the 8 remain recognisable.

Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–1
