Skin overview

This R8 Revolver finish is known for its purple barrel and the number 8 painted on a wooden grip. In Well-Worn the barrel shows clear patches of bare metal along the edges and the muzzle, and the 8 on the grip loses some of its brightness. From a normal distance the revolver still reads as purple and dark, with a rougher, scuffed character.

Item type: pistol. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The barrel and the front of the frame are painted violet with blue and pink shifts, with small black marks such as crosses drawn over the paint. The top rail, cylinder and trigger guard stay dark gunmetal, and the cylinder carries light chevron markings between the flutes.

The barrel shows larger patches of bare metal, especially at the muzzle, along the rail and on the lower edges. The cylinder chevrons are partly gone, and the 8 on the grip looks noticeably duller and scuffed. In game the purple is still dominant but looks patchy. Only the central flat areas of the barrel keep an even colour.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
