Skin overview
Leafhopper is a green anodized R8 with copper highlights and a light grip, built around a simple two-tone contrast. In Well-Worn the coat is noticeably scratched along the barrel, cylinder and rails, with bare metal showing through on the edges. The green still dominates, so the skin keeps its identity while taking on a used, working-gun character.
Item type: pistol. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Anodized: the colour is in the metal coating itself, so wear shows mostly as dulling rather than a rubbed-off pattern.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The barrel, frame and cylinder are coated in a deep, glossy green with faint darker and bluish patches from the case-hardened treatment, most visible on the cylinder. The top rail, the under-barrel rail, the trigger and small trim pieces are anodized in a copper-orange that contrasts with the green.
Scratches run along the barrel and across the cylinder, with bare metal showing through on the edges and the top rail. The copper parts are visibly scuffed and duller. In game the revolver looks used, though the green base is still the main impression. The flat sides of the frame and the grip hold up better than the edges.
Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45
The float of Souvenir R8 Revolver | Leafhopper ranges from 0 to 0.651; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Boreal Collection with 29 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Gold, copper and holo stickers in green or orange tones echo the rail accents and sit well on the green frame. Placements along the barrel side or on the frame above the grip keep the copper rail visible. Bright red or purple stickers tend to clash with the calm two-tone scheme.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a grade shows noticeably less damage on the edges.
- Inspect the muzzle, the top rail edges and the cylinder, as these wear first on this finish.
- Check whether the copper trigger and rails still have clean edges, because they carry much of the skin's contrast.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied, and whether the copy is a Souvenir with fixed stickers.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Budget buyers who want the skin's colours at a low cost.
- Players who like a used, working-gun character on a revolver.
- An inexpensive copy that still reads as green.
