Skin overview

Battle-Scarred is the most worn version of this plum-and-gunmetal R8. Much of the plum on the cylinder and trigger is worn through to metal, and the pour swirls on the grip survive only in fragments. The skin still reads as Mauve Aside by its colour, but the clean marbled look is gone.

Item type: pistol. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel, top rail and upper frame are dark gunmetal, while the lower frame, trigger guard and hammer area are bright polished steel. The cylinder is painted a deep plum with silver chamber faces, and the trigger carries the same plum tone.

Large areas of the cylinder and trigger are worn down to metal, and the grip pattern remains only in broken fragments. The muzzle, rail and frame edges carry heavy scratches. In game the skin reads mostly as a dark revolver with faded plum hints.
