Mauve Aside is recognisable by its plum cylinder and the swirled acrylic pour pattern on the grip, set against a plain dark frame. In Field-Tested the colours still read clearly, but the edges of the cylinder and the raised parts of the grip start to show scuffs. The overall look stays tidy at normal viewing distance.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel, top rail and upper frame are dark gunmetal, while the lower frame, trigger guard and hammer area are bright polished steel. The cylinder is painted a deep plum with silver chamber faces, and the trigger carries the same plum tone.

Wear becomes visible on the cylinder edges, the trigger and the raised finger grooves of the grip, where small patches of the pour pattern fade. The muzzle and rail may show light marks. At normal distance the colours still read well and the grip pattern stays recognisable.
