Skin overview

Sawed-Off | Apocalypto is a custom paint job that sets a decomposing turquoise hand reaching for a bomb-like planet against a purple outer space background. In Factory New the starfield on the barrel and the detail of the planet on the receiver are complete, and the contrast between purple, turquoise and orange is at its strongest.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The barrel and the pump are painted deep purple with small stars, a soft wavy texture and a thin orange streak, giving the front of the shotgun an outer space look. On the receiver sits the bomb-like planet in orange, blue and white swirls, and behind it a turquoise decomposing hand stretches its fingers toward the planet across the rear of the receiver and the grip.

The paint is intact on every part, from the muzzle to the pink butt of the stock. Stars on the barrel, the swirls of the planet and the outlines of the fingers are sharp. In game the turquoise hand and the purple barrel read as clean, saturated colour blocks. Nothing on the weapon shows rubbing.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Apocalypto is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, because low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the pump and muzzle.
• Inspect the planet on the receiver, as rubbing around it is the most visible damage to the main motif.
• Look at the end of the stock, where the pink paint wears through early.
• Note any stickers or name tag and whether they match the colours of the artwork.
