Skin overview

This Restricted shotgun skin is recognisable by the split between its purple starry front half and the bright turquoise hand covering the rear. In Minimal Wear the artwork reads as practically clean, with only small marks at the very edges that are hard to spot without inspecting the weapon closely.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The barrel and the pump are painted deep purple with small stars, a soft wavy texture and a thin orange streak, giving the front of the shotgun an outer space look. On the receiver sits the bomb-like planet in orange, blue and white swirls, and behind it a turquoise decomposing hand stretches its fingers toward the planet across the rear of the receiver and the grip.

Tiny marks may appear on the muzzle edge and the front end of the pump. The planet, the hand and the starfield remain fully clean. At normal play distance the skin is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The stock and the receiver sides look untouched.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Apocalypto is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in purple, turquoise or holographic finishes blend with the space theme and the hand. Placements on the purple barrel keep the planet and the hand on the receiver uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, because low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the pump and muzzle.
  • Inspect the planet on the receiver, as rubbing around it is the most visible damage to the main motif.
  • Look at the end of the stock, where the pink paint wears through early.
  • Note any stickers or name tag and whether they match the colours of the artwork.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters who are fine with marks that are barely visible.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
