Souvenir Sawed-Off | Apocalypto (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Apocalypto combines a space backdrop, an orange and blue planet and a turquoise rotting hand into one scene running along the Sawed-Off. In Field-Tested the main motif stays readable, while the edges of the barrel, the pump and the stock start to show visible scuffs.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel and the pump are painted deep purple with small stars, a soft wavy texture and a thin orange streak, giving the front of the shotgun an outer space look. On the receiver sits the bomb-like planet in orange, blue and white swirls, and behind it a turquoise decomposing hand stretches its fingers toward the planet across the rear of the receiver and the grip.

Scuffs become visible along the muzzle, the ribs of the pump and the edges of the receiver. The end of the stock starts to lose some of its pink paint. The planet and the turquoise hand still read clearly in game, and the overall colour scheme is intact. The flat sides of the barrel and grip mostly stay clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Apocalypto is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Prisma 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in purple, turquoise or holographic finishes blend with the space theme and the hand. Placements on the purple barrel keep the planet and the hand on the receiver uncovered.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, because low-float copies of a grade look noticeably cleaner on the pump and muzzle.
• Inspect the planet on the receiver, as rubbing around it is the most visible damage to the main motif.
• Look at the end of the stock, where the pink paint wears through early.
• Note any stickers or name tag and whether they match the colours of the artwork.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who use the Sawed-Off regularly and want the motif to stay readable.
• Buyers who accept edge scuffs in exchange for a lower cost.
• A practical pick for everyday play.
