Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT (Battle-Scarred)

Skin overview

This finish puts a digital camouflage of olive, brown and orange on a classic pump-action Sawed-Off. In Battle-Scarred large areas of paint are gone from the barrels and receiver, leaving the orange pixels as scattered patches over bare metal. The float range stops short of the most worn values, so even the roughest copies keep part of the pattern.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrels, receiver and the top of the gun are covered in a digital camouflage of dark olive and brown pixels with bright orange blocks scattered across it. The pump forend is a plain dark brown with ribbing, and the stock is a muted sand colour with a darker reddish-brown butt end.

Large areas of the barrels and receiver lose their paint, with the camouflage surviving in patches. The orange pixels remain as scattered spots. The stock and forend show clear scuffing along their edges. Since the float range does not reach the extreme end, the most worn copies still keep part of the pattern visible in game.

Battle-Scarred quality — float range 0.45–0.8

The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.8 — 47% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT belongs to The eSports 2013 Collection, which holds 9 skins.

The source is eSports 2013 Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Orange, black and olive stickers match the camouflage and keep the craft consistent. Placing them on the receiver near the orange blocks works better than on the plain sand stock, where bright colours can clash.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the edges of the barrels and receiver show wear first.
• Look at the muzzle ends and the top of the barrels on the inspect screen to judge how much paint has chipped.
• The pixel camouflage has no rare pattern variants, so focus on float and condition rather than placement.
• Check applied stickers and name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ version, which also exists for this skin.

Who the Battle-Scarred quality suits

• Players who want the cheapest way to use this skin.
• Fans of heavily worn finishes where bare metal mixes with orange patches.
• Conclusion: a budget pick that still keeps part of the camouflage.
