Skin overview

Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT relies on contrast between dark pixel camouflage and orange squares. In Well-Worn the paint is noticeably chipped along the barrels and receiver, and bare metal begins to mix with the pattern. The worn look suits the rusty colour scheme, which makes this grade read more weathered than damaged.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The barrels, receiver and the top of the gun are covered in a digital camouflage of dark olive and brown pixels with bright orange blocks scattered across it. The pump forend is a plain dark brown with ribbing, and the stock is a muted sand colour with a darker reddish-brown butt end.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the flat surfaces of the barrels and receiver, and bare metal shows through between the pixels. The orange blocks lose part of their outline. The stock edges and the butt end are scuffed. In game the gun reads as weathered, though the colour scheme is still recognisable.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT ranges from 0.06 to 0.8; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 9% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The eSports 2013 Collection with 9 skins in total.

It drops from eSports 2013 Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and olive stickers match the camouflage and keep the craft consistent. Placing them on the receiver near the orange blocks works better than on the plain sand stock, where bright colours can clash.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the grade, since the edges of the barrels and receiver show wear first.
  • Look at the muzzle ends and the top of the barrels on the inspect screen to judge how much paint has chipped.
  • The pixel camouflage has no rare pattern variants, so focus on float and condition rather than placement.
  • Check applied stickers and name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ version, which also exists for this skin.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Players who like a weathered look that fits the rusty colours.
  • Budget buyers who still want the pattern recognisable.
  • Conclusion: a characterful option at a lower grade.
