Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT (Factory New)

Skin overview

Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT covers the shotgun in a dark olive and brown digital camouflage scattered with bright orange pixel blocks. In Factory New the orange squares stay sharp against the darker base and the pixel edges look crisp. The float range does not reach the very lowest values, so all Factory New copies fall within a narrow band near the limit of the grade.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Hydrographic: the pattern is applied as a film over the metal; wear rubs it down to the base, starting with raised parts.

Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Factory New

The barrels, receiver and the top of the gun are covered in a digital camouflage of dark olive and brown pixels with bright orange blocks scattered across it. The pump forend is a plain dark brown with ribbing, and the stock is a muted sand colour with a darker reddish-brown butt end.

The camouflage is intact on all parts, with sharp pixel edges and saturated orange blocks. The stock and forend show no scratches. In game the orange pixels stand out clearly against the dark base. Because the float range starts above the lowest values, the difference between Factory New copies is minimal.

Factory New wear: float 0.06–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT is 0.06–0.8; Factory New takes the 0.06–0.07 segment (1% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir Sawed-Off | Orange DDPAT belongs to The eSports 2013 Collection, which holds 9 skins.

It drops from eSports 2013 Case (on sale since Jul 9, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Orange, black and olive stickers match the camouflage and keep the craft consistent. Placing them on the receiver near the orange blocks works better than on the plain sand stock, where bright colours can clash.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the grade, since the edges of the barrels and receiver show wear first.
• Look at the muzzle ends and the top of the barrels on the inspect screen to judge how much paint has chipped.
• The pixel camouflage has no rare pattern variants, so focus on float and condition rather than placement.
• Check applied stickers and name tag, and whether you want a StatTrak™ version, which also exists for this skin.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the cleanest available copy with sharp orange pixels.
• Players building a sticker craft that needs an unmarked base.
• Conclusion: the grade for those who want the pattern at its best.
