Sawed-Off | Origami covers the shotgun in warm triangular facets that recall a paper sculpture, framed by dark barrels and a brown stock. Since the float range of this skin stops early, Battle-Scarred copies stay within moderate wear and do not reach the heaviest damage seen on other skins. Expect worn edges and patchy facets, with the orange base still clearly visible.
Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver is filled with sharp triangular shards in orange, amber and bright yellow, with a few darker flecks near its rear end that add depth to the folded-paper effect. The pump carries a solid orange base with a single yellow facet, while the double barrels stay in dark gunmetal.
The pump and receiver edges are heavily rubbed, and the facet pattern turns patchy in several areas. Because the float range ends early, the damage stays moderate compared with fully scarred skins. In game the orange base remains readable and the gun does not look stripped. Parts of the central receiver pattern still show their colour shapes.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.55
The float of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Origami ranges from 0 to 0.55; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.55 — 18% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Where the skin comes from: collection and case
The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.
It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in gold, yellow, orange or black sit well on the warm facets and the dark barrels. Holo and gold stickers on the receiver echo the shard pattern, while a single dark sticker on the barrel side gives a clean contrast.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the clean end look sharper on the pump edges.
- Look at the edge of the pump and the top of the receiver in inspect, as these areas wear first.
- Compare screenshots, because the placement of the facets and darker flecks on the receiver can differ between copies.
- Note any applied stickers or name tag, and decide whether they fit the orange scheme or need removing.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Players looking for the cheapest way to get this skin.
- Buyers who know the limited float range keeps damage moderate.
- The cheapest entry point, with a worn look that stays within moderate limits.
