Souvenir Sawed-Off | Origami (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

This Sawed-Off carries an origami-style pattern of warm triangular shards over the receiver and pump, with the rest of the gun kept in dark metal and brown. At Minimal Wear the paint looks practically the same as a fresh copy in normal play, with any marks limited to tiny spots on the edges. For most buyers this grade delivers the full look while costing less than Factory New.

Item type: shotgun. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver is filled with sharp triangular shards in orange, amber and bright yellow, with a few darker flecks near its rear end that add depth to the folded-paper effect. The pump carries a solid orange base with a single yellow facet, while the double barrels stay in dark gunmetal.

Small specks may appear on the front edge of the pump and along the top of the receiver. The facets keep their sharp shapes and the colour remains even. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. The stock and the bulk of the receiver pattern look clean.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Sawed-Off | Origami is 0–0.55; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (15% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

The skin’s collection is The Chroma 2 Collection with 15 skins in total.

It drops from Chroma 2 Case (on sale since Apr 15, 2015).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in gold, yellow, orange or black sit well on the warm facets and the dark barrels. Holo and gold stickers on the receiver echo the shard pattern, while a single dark sticker on the barrel side gives a clean contrast.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since copies at the clean end look sharper on the pump edges.
• Look at the edge of the pump and the top of the receiver in inspect, as these areas wear first.
• Compare screenshots, because the placement of the facets and darker flecks on the receiver can differ between copies.
• Note any applied stickers or name tag, and decide whether they fit the orange scheme or need removing.
