Skin overview

Blueprint gives the SCAR-20 a blue drafting theme, and in Battle-Scarred that theme is heavily broken up by wear. Large areas of dark metal show on the edges, rails and stock, and much of the line work is gone. It suits those who like a rough, used rifle that still keeps its blue character.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The receiver, handguard and stock are painted in deep royal blue, covered with thin lighter blue lines, grids and outlines that trace the shapes of the parts like a technical drawing. Edges of the receiver and the cutouts in the stock are highlighted with bright blue contour lines, and small markings on the side add to the drafting look.

Heavy chipping covers the rails, edges, stock and much of the handguard, with large areas of dark metal exposed. Most of the drafting lines are gone, leaving mainly patches of blue paint. In game the rifle reads as a dark, worn weapon with blue fragments. Only the more protected central areas keep a solid colour.

The float of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Blueprint ranges from 0 to 0.75; the Battle-Scarred quality covers 0.45–0.75 — 40% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

White, light blue and silver stickers blend with the drafting lines, while gold or orange ones give a strong contrast against the deep blue. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the line drawing on the stock visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep the edges and rails cleaner.
• Look at the top rails, handguard edges and stock outline first, as chipping starts there.
• Inspect the thin drafting lines on the side panels, because they fade before the blue base.
