Skin overview

The Blueprint finish turns the SCAR-20 into a blue technical sheet, with outlines traced along the receiver, handguard and stock. At Minimal Wear the colour and line work look practically the same as on a fresh copy, and any marks stay small and hard to spot. It keeps the clean drawing look at a lower grade than Factory New.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, handguard and stock are painted in deep royal blue, covered with thin lighter blue lines, grids and outlines that trace the shapes of the parts like a technical drawing. Edges of the receiver and the cutouts in the stock are highlighted with bright blue contour lines, and small markings on the side add to the drafting look.

Tiny scuffs may appear on the top rails or the sharpest edges of the receiver, usually only visible up close. The blue base and the line work on the side panels and stock remain clean. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New. Copies near the lower end of the range look practically untouched.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Blueprint is 0–0.75; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (11% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

White, light blue and silver stickers blend with the drafting lines, while gold or orange ones give a strong contrast against the deep blue. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the line drawing on the stock visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep the edges and rails cleaner.
• Look at the top rails, handguard edges and stock outline first, as chipping starts there.
• Inspect the thin drafting lines on the side panels, because they fade before the blue base.
