Skin overview

Blueprint is easy to recognise by its solid blue body and pale drafting lines that follow the shape of the rifle. In Field-Tested the paint starts to chip on edges and protruding parts, so dark metal shows through in places while the main panels keep their colour. The rifle still reads clearly as blue, with a slightly used, working look.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver, handguard and stock are painted in deep royal blue, covered with thin lighter blue lines, grids and outlines that trace the shapes of the parts like a technical drawing. Edges of the receiver and the cutouts in the stock are highlighted with bright blue contour lines, and small markings on the side add to the drafting look.

Chipping becomes visible on the rails, handguard edges and the outline of the stock, with dark metal showing in small patches. Some thin lines near those areas start to break up. The large flat panels of the receiver and stock keep their blue and most of the drawing. In game the rifle still reads as blue with light signs of use.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Blueprint is 0–0.75; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (31% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

White, light blue and silver stickers blend with the drafting lines, while gold or orange ones give a strong contrast against the deep blue. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the line drawing on the stock visible.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since lower values keep the edges and rails cleaner.
• Look at the top rails, handguard edges and stock outline first, as chipping starts there.
• Inspect the thin drafting lines on the side panels, because they fade before the blue base.
• Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they fit the blue drawing.
