Show allAllSkin overview
SCAR-20 | Zinc is a grayscale spray finish, and Battle-Scarred is its most worn grade. Here the grey pattern is broken up by scraped areas on the edges, rail and stock, giving a rough, field-used rifle. The float range of this skin stops short of the deepest wear, so even this grade keeps a recognisable grey coat.
Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.
Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.
Other qualities of this skin: Well-Worn.
How the skin looks in Battle-Scarred
The receiver and the long railed handguard are covered in a mottled grayscale pattern, with light grey patches over darker grey that give a dull galvanised look. The barrel and muzzle device stay dark, and the scope is finished in a deep grey that matches the body.
Scrapes cover the rail, handguard, receiver edges and stock, and the grip shows clear wear. The pattern is broken up but not stripped, since the skin's float range ends before the heaviest damage. In game the rifle reads as a rough, worn grey weapon. Recessed areas and the middle of the magazine still keep the mottled coat.
Battle-Scarred wear: float 0.45–0.6
The whole float range of Souvenir SCAR-20 | Zinc is 0–0.6; Battle-Scarred takes the 0.45–0.6 segment (25% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Achroma Collection with 20 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
What it costs in each quality
Taking Battle-Scarred as the baseline:
- Factory New — 1515× dearer
- Minimal Wear — 583× dearer
- Field-Tested — 546× dearer
The comparison uses our cheapest listing of each quality; where there is none, the market reference.
Among 6 skins of the SCAR-20 in the Consumer Grade grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
The neutral grey finish works with almost any sticker colour, so a single bright sticker on the receiver stands out well. Black, white and silver or holographic stickers keep the metallic theme consistent.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade looks close to the cleaner one.
- Look at the top rail and stock corners, as these parts lose the coat first.
- Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so make sure they suit you before buying.
- Check for added stickers or a name tag that change the plain look of the rifle.
Who should buy Battle-Scarred
- Budget entry for players who want the rifle skinned at minimal cost.
- Players who like a rough, heavily used weapon look.
- The most worn grade that still keeps a recognisable grey coat.
