Skin overview

Zinc keeps the SCAR-20 in muted shades of grey, with lighter and darker patches spread over the whole body. At Minimal Wear the pattern still looks clean, and any marks sit on edges you rarely notice in a match. For a finish this restrained, the gap to Factory New is hard to see on screen.

Item type: sniper rifle. The weapon is available only on the Counter-Terrorist side. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and the long railed handguard are covered in a mottled grayscale pattern, with light grey patches over darker grey that give a dull galvanised look. The barrel and muzzle device stay dark, and the scope is finished in a deep grey that matches the body.

Light scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the top rail and handguard. The receiver, magazine and stock surfaces stay clean. At normal distance the rifle looks the same as Factory New. Only close inspection reveals the small marks.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

The neutral grey finish works with almost any sticker colour, so a single bright sticker on the receiver stands out well. Black, white and silver or holographic stickers keep the metallic theme consistent.

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since a low float in a worn grade looks close to the cleaner one.
• Look at the top rail and stock corners, as these parts lose the coat first.
• Souvenir copies come with pre-applied stickers, so make sure they suit you before buying.
• Check for added stickers or a name tag that change the plain look of the rifle.
