Skin overview

This SG 553 finish is built around a biomechanical green dragon, and in Well-Worn the contrast between green paint and exposed dark metal becomes part of the look. Scratches spread across the magazine, handguard and scope, giving the rifle a used, gritty appearance. The teal colour still dominates the silhouette.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and handguard are covered in teal and emerald scales mixed with mechanical plates, while the rail tops and some edges stay dark gunmetal. A thin red line runs along the lower edge of the handguard, adding a warm accent to the green scheme.

Scratches cover the handguard, scope and magazine, and the edges of the stock lose paint as well. The red handguard line is broken in places. In game the green looks patchy and darker overall. The central parts of the receiver keep the clearest section of the dragon pattern.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir SG 553 | Dragon Tech ranges from 0 to 0.7; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 10% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Green, teal and black stickers blend with the dragon scales, while red or gold ones echo the handguard accent. Holo or foil stickers in cool tones fit the mechanical theme. Placing them on the receiver keeps the magazine pattern open.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the edges of the handguard and magazine show the difference most.
  • Inspect the muzzle and scope housing, as they lose paint first.
  • Look at applied stickers and their placement against the green pattern.
  • Check whether a name tag is applied and if it suits you.

Who should buy Well-Worn

  • Budget buyers who want the skin on their rifle.
  • Players who like a used, weathered look.
  • An affordable entry with the green theme still visible.
