Skin overview

In Well-Worn the rifle looks genuinely used: the copper tone is broken up along rails and edges, and the teal parts lose some of their depth. The overall colour split between orange furniture and blue-grey metal still identifies the skin. It is an affordable way to own a finish that was meant to look old anyway.

Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Well-Worn

The handguard with its long rail sections, the barrel, the scope and the stock are finished in a warm copper-orange tone that imitates rusted steel. The receiver is dark teal and blue-grey, broken up by red-orange rust blotches, and the nickname Ol' Rusty is stamped above the trigger housing.

The scratches spread from the edges onto the faces of the handguard and the magazine, and the receiver corners and the stamp area start to fade. The copper tone becomes patchy and the teal loses depth. The recessed parts of the handguard and the stock still keep solid colour, so the scheme stays recognisable in game.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Ol' Rusty is 0–0.7; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (10% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Fracture Collection with 17 skins in total.

The source is Fracture Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in copper, orange, teal or muted blue echo the skin's two-tone scheme, while gold and holographic finishes stand out against the rust. Placements on the receiver and the magazine sit on the cooler teal and blue areas, giving warm-coloured stickers more contrast.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade keep noticeably more colour on the rails.
  • Look at the rail ridges, muzzle and magazine edges, as these show wear first.
  • Make sure the Ol' Rusty stamp above the trigger housing is readable if that detail matters to you.
  • Review applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the look and are not removed for free.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Budget buyers who want an SG 553 skin for everyday play.
  • Players who prefer a used, lived-in look over a showroom finish.
  • A low-cost entry that keeps the skin recognisable.
