Show allAllSkin overview
The SG 553 | Tiger Moth keeps its orange and dark brown wing markings recognisable even with heavy use. In Well-Worn the paint is visibly thinned on the rail, magazine edges and stock, and bare metal shows through in many places. The finish takes on a rough, used look that some players prefer.
Item type: rifle. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Well-Worn
The handguard and rail section are painted in orange-brown with a pale cream lattice of wing cells running along the top. The receiver carries a bright orange base covered in dark brown and black spots that imitate moth wing markings.
Paint loss spreads across the handguard, rail and magazine, and the stock corners are noticeably scraped. The orange looks duller and the cream cells break up in many places. In game the rifle reads as clearly used, though the warm colour is still obvious. The receiver keeps much of its spotted pattern.
Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45
The whole float range of Souvenir SG 553 | Tiger Moth is 0–1; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Revolver Case Collection with 17 skins in total.
It drops from Revolver Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Stickers and crafts
Orange, gold, black and dark brown stickers sit naturally on this finish and follow its warm scheme. Holo or gold stickers on the receiver side stand out well against the orange base, while dark stickers blend into the spotted pattern.
What to check before buying
- Look at where the float sits within the wear range, as low and high copies of the same grade can look noticeably different.
- Check the rail edges, the front of the handguard and the magazine edges, since this finish loses paint there first.
- Look at how the dark spots sit on the receiver and magazine in the inspect screenshot.
- Check applied stickers and a name tag, as they change both the look and the value of the copy.
Who should buy Well-Worn
- Players who like a rough, used look on their rifle.
- Budget buyers who want the orange scheme at a lower cost.
- Conclusion: a choice for those who prefer character over cleanliness.
