Skin overview

Big Iron turns the SSG 08 into a yellow rifle with an orange undertone and a technical, panel-like line pattern. In Minimal Wear it looks almost the same as a factory-new copy, and any marks blend into the intentional distressing of the finish. It is a way to get the full colour of the skin at a lower grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard are painted bright yellow with orange shading and covered in thin dark lines that form angular panels and circuit-like strips, with dark lettering-style markings on the side of the handguard. The barrel stays black, with orange touches towards the muzzle, while the scope, pistol grip and cheek rest remain dark and frame the colour.

Small specks may appear on the sharpest edges of the handguard and the corners of the stock. They are hard to separate from the intentional distressing of the finish. At normal distance in game the rifle looks the same as Factory New. The receiver panels and line work stay fully clean.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, orange and gold stickers match the yellow and orange scheme and the dark line work. Placements on the flat side of the receiver and handguard sit well within the panel pattern, while cool blue or green tones would contrast strongly with the warm finish.
