Skin overview

Big Iron already has a used, workshop look built into its design, and Well-Worn pushes that further. The yellow and orange panels lose coverage on the edges and the front of the rifle, and dark metal shows through in more places. It suits a buyer who likes a rough, worked-in rifle.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and handguard are painted bright yellow with orange shading and covered in thin dark lines that form angular panels and circuit-like strips, with dark lettering-style markings on the side of the handguard. The barrel stays black, with orange touches towards the muzzle, while the scope, pistol grip and cheek rest remain dark and frame the colour.

Wear spreads from the edges onto the front of the handguard and the upper receiver, and the magazine is noticeably scraped. The stock shows larger dark areas around its corners and lower edge. In game the yellow looks patchy but the colour scheme is still obvious. The centres of the side panels keep much of the paint.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir SSG 08 | Big Iron ranges from 0 to 0.64; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 11% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Black, orange and gold stickers match the yellow and orange scheme and the dark line work. Placements on the flat side of the receiver and handguard sit well within the panel pattern, while cool blue or green tones would contrast strongly with the warm finish.
