Skin overview

This is the most worn version of the creature-covered SSG 08, where the red base and the monster artwork are broken up by bare metal. The palette still shows through in patches, so the skin stays identifiable as Bloodshot from a distance. It suits players who like a rough, battered look on a loud design.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Battle-Scarred

The barrel and handguard are painted red with darker splatter, and the handguard keeps its black vent cutouts and rail. The receiver and stock carry the main illustration: a yellow-green monster with rows of teeth, a pink tongue and purple tentacles winding toward the cheek rest.

Large patches of bare metal cover the barrel and muzzle area, and the handguard red is heavily broken up. The teeth, tongue and tentacles are scratched through in many places, especially on the grip and stock corners. In game the rifle reads as rough and faded, with the colours surviving in fragments. Only the centre of the illustration keeps a fairly solid picture.
