Souvenir SSG 08 | Bloodshot (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

The skin pairs a red barrel and handguard with a dense creature illustration on the receiver and stock, built around teeth, a tongue and tentacles. In Field-Tested the monster still reads clearly, while light scuffs begin to show on the edges and the forward parts. It keeps the loud colour scheme at a more relaxed level of condition.

Item type: sniper rifle. Classified is the second-rarest weapon tier, only Covert sits above it.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The barrel and handguard are painted red with darker splatter, and the handguard keeps its black vent cutouts and rail. The receiver and stock carry the main illustration: a yellow-green monster with rows of teeth, a pink tongue and purple tentacles winding toward the cheek rest.

Light scratches appear along the barrel, the muzzle area and the handguard edges, and the colours lose a little depth. The monster on the receiver and stock stays readable, with only minor scuffs on raised corners. In first-person view the wear is noticeable mainly on the red front section. The grip and central part of the illustration still look tidy.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Bloodshot is 0.14–0.6; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (50% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir SSG 08 | Bloodshot belongs to The Shattered Web Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Shattered Web Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, pink, yellow-green or holographic stickers blend with the artwork without fighting it. The red handguard is a calmer spot for stickers, while placing them on the receiver can cover parts of the monster.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the barrel and handguard edges show the difference first.
• Look at the grip and stock corners on worn copies to see how much of the monster artwork is lost.
• Review any applied stickers and name tag, as they change the look of the busy receiver area.
• Decide between StatTrak™, Souvenir and the regular version before comparing offers.

Who the Field-Tested quality suits

• Players who want the monster design clearly visible in game without paying for the top grade.
• Owners of StatTrak™ copies who use the rifle often.
• A balanced choice between look and cost.
