Skin overview

SSG 08 | Death's Head is a hand-painted finish modelled on the wings of a death's-head hawkmoth, with bright orange bands broken by black stripes over a dark olive and brown base. In Factory New the orange on the grip and stock stays saturated and the edges of every stripe are crisp. This is the version where the moth motif reads most clearly as a deliberate drawing rather than a camouflage.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

Appearance in Factory New

The grip, cheek rest and butt carry the main motif: bright orange bands separated by black stripes, imitating the wing pattern of a death's-head hawkmoth. The receiver and handguard are painted in a tan and olive tone with dark brown spots, while orange accents edge the area around the trigger guard and stock frame.

The paint is intact on every part of the rifle, including the muzzle brake and the top rails. Orange bands on the grip and stock are vivid, and the brown spotting on the handguard has sharp outlines. In game the striped rear end is the first thing that catches the eye. Nothing looks scuffed or faded.
