Skin overview

This SSG 08 finish relies on contrast between dark steel and pale geometric panels, and in Well-Worn that contrast starts to break up. The white blocks are patchy, edges show bare metal and the red accents are partly rubbed away. It reads as a used field rifle that still keeps the original colours.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The long barrel and handguard are dark grey to black, with a red ring behind the muzzle brake and a red detail at the front of the handguard. The receiver and the area around the trigger carry a pale grey and white pattern of rectangular blocks that gives the high-tech look.

The light blocks on the receiver and stock are patchy, with bare metal showing through on edges. The red accents on the muzzle, handguard and bipod are partly worn away. In game the rifle reads as clearly used, though the black, white and red scheme is still recognisable. Only the flatter middle sections of the handguard keep a fairly solid finish.
