Skin overview

Dezastre combines a grey-black base with a white tech pattern and red highlights on the muzzle, handguard and bipod. In Field-Tested the light blocks start to show scuffs and the dark parts pick up visible lighter scratches. The overall scheme stays readable, which makes this the practical middle choice.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Field-Tested

The long barrel and handguard are dark grey to black, with a red ring behind the muzzle brake and a red detail at the front of the handguard. The receiver and the area around the trigger carry a pale grey and white pattern of rectangular blocks that gives the high-tech look.

Scuffs show on the light blocks of the receiver and on the stock edges, and the dark barrel carries lighter scratches. The red ring at the muzzle may be slightly chipped. In game the pattern is still clearly readable, with wear visible mainly up close. The central part of the handguard and the grip stay relatively clean.

Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir SSG 08 | Dezastre ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

Souvenir SSG 08 | Dezastre belongs to The Kilowatt Collection, which holds 17 skins.

The source is Kilowatt Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Black, white and red stickers match the scheme best, especially minimal or tech-style designs. Placing them on the dark barrel or handguard gives contrast, while white stickers can blend into the light receiver panels.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the lower end of a grade look noticeably cleaner.
  • Look at the light blocks on the receiver and the red ring at the muzzle, as these lose paint first.
  • Check applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the look of a high-contrast finish.
  • Compare the StatTrak™ and Souvenir versions if you want a counter or a souvenir copy.

Who should buy Field-Tested

  • Players who want the recognisable scheme for everyday use.
  • Buyers looking for a low-floated copy within this grade.
  • The practical middle option for regular play.
