Souvenir SSG 08 | Fever Dream (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

This SSG 08 skin is built on contrast: chaotic pink, blue and purple sketches against a black body. In Field-Tested the colours still carry the look, but scuffs start to appear along the edges of the receiver and handguard, giving the rifle a used feel. For many players this is the balance point between a lively look and a lower grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The receiver and handguard carry the densest layer of the artwork: pink, cyan and purple swirls, faces and scribbled lettering packed over a black base. The barrel stays dark with thin white sketch marks running along it, while the scope and bipod remain plain dark grey.

Scuffs become visible along the handguard edges, the top of the receiver and the rear of the stock. The neon drawings lose some fine detail at those spots, while the centre of the receiver stays mostly clean. In game the rifle still reads as colourful, with a slightly used texture. The barrel shows light wear near the muzzle.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir SSG 08 | Fever Dream ranges from 0 to 0.72; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 32% of this skin’s scale. The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Prisma 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Prisma 2 Case.

Price by quality

Compared with the Field-Tested quality, the others go like this: Factory New — 21% dearer. Based on the cheapest SkinOut.gg listing of each quality, otherwise on the market reference.

Among 3 skins of the SSG 08 in the Restricted grade and this quality, this skin is the most affordable.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in pink, cyan, purple or black fit the neon-on-black palette without clashing. Placements on the darker parts of the barrel or grip area stand out better than on the already busy receiver. Holo or foil stickers in matching tones blend well with the drawings.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show noticeably less scratching.
• Inspect the handguard edges, receiver top and rear of the stock, as these lose the drawings first.
• Look at applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the overall look of a busy finish.
• Decide whether you want a StatTrak™ or Souvenir version, as both exist for this skin.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who use the SSG 08 often and want a bright skin for everyday play.
• Buyers looking for a balance between colour and cost.
• Conclusion: a practical middle option that keeps the look alive.
