Skin overview

The Fever Dream finish is easy to spot at any range: dense neon doodles over black, concentrated on the receiver, handguard and stock. Minimal Wear keeps the drawings bright, with only faint marks on edges that are hard to notice without inspecting the rifle closely. In game it reads almost the same as the cleanest grade.

Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard carry the densest layer of the artwork: pink, cyan and purple swirls, faces and scribbled lettering packed over a black base. The barrel stays dark with thin white sketch marks running along it, while the scope and bipod remain plain dark grey.

Light specks may appear on the handguard edges and the muzzle end. The drawings on the receiver and stock remain bright and complete. In game the difference from Factory New is barely visible. Close inspection may reveal tiny marks on the black areas.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Stickers in pink, cyan, purple or black fit the neon-on-black palette without clashing. Placements on the darker parts of the barrel or grip area stand out better than on the already busy receiver. Holo or foil stickers in matching tones blend well with the drawings.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since copies near the cleaner end of a grade show noticeably less scratching.
• Inspect the handguard edges, receiver top and rear of the stock, as these lose the drawings first.
• Look at applied stickers and any name tag, because they change the overall look of a busy finish.
