Skin overview

This finish gives the SSG 08 a muted green body with olive and sage accents and no artwork to distract from the shape of the rifle. Well-Worn copies show clear bare-metal patches on the edges of the handguard, scope and stock frame. The green still dominates, but the rifle looks like it has seen long service.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Solid Color: a single colour without a pattern; wear dulls it evenly and rubs it off along the edges.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver and long handguard with its cut-outs and top rail are painted medium green, while the stock frame takes a slightly darker green. The scope tube and its rings are olive and khaki, and the pistol grip, cheek rest and butt pad are a pale sage tone.

Bare-metal patches spread across the handguard, the scope tube and the stock frame edges. The pale grip and cheek rest look clearly scuffed. At normal distance the rifle reads as worn, with grey breaking through the green. Only the larger flat surfaces keep solid paint.

Well-Worn wear: float 0.38–0.45

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Green Ceramic is 0–0.75; Well-Worn takes the 0.38–0.45 segment (9% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Souvenir SSG 08 | Green Ceramic belongs to The Boreal Collection, which holds 29 skins. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
