Skin overview

This finish turns the SSG 08 into a green, moss-like camouflage rifle made of short sprayed dashes. A Well-Worn copy has visible chipping across the scope, handguard and stock, with patches of bare metal breaking up the greens. It looks like a field rifle that has seen long use rather than a showpiece.

Item type: sniper rifle. Consumer Grade is the lowest tier of the rarity scale: the most common skins, most often used in trade-up contracts.

Spray-Paint: paint sprayed over the metal; scratches and scuffs appear early but look natural.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The receiver, handguard, scope, pistol grip and skeleton stock are covered in an olive base with short dark green and lighter green dashes, plus a few greyish patches that give a lichen-like texture. The long barrel and muzzle brake stay in dark grey metal, and the bipod legs are mostly grey with some camouflage on the mount.

Chipping spreads from the edges onto the scope tube, the top of the handguard and the stock frame. The grip shows clear rubbed areas, and the dashes lose definition where the paint has thinned. In game the rifle looks noticeably weathered, with grey breaking up the camouflage. The lower receiver sides hold the most paint.
