Souvenir SSG 08 | Memorial (Factory New)

Skin overview

SSG 08 | Memorial pairs a pale, concrete-like finish with bronze engraved panels, a nod to brutalist architecture. In Factory New the off-white surfaces stay even and unmarked, and the bronze engravings keep their full warm tone against the grey. This is the grade for buyers who want the light-and-bronze contrast exactly as designed.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Factory New

The receiver and handguard are covered in an off-white, slightly mottled finish that imitates concrete, with dark cut-outs along the handguard left visible. Bronze panels with engraved relief sit on the side of the receiver around the magazine area and on the stock, giving the rifle its warm accent.

The off-white finish is uniform across the receiver, handguard and stock with no visible scratches. The bronze engravings keep a crisp edge and full warm colour. In game the rifle looks clean and bright from the first-person view. Every part, including the scope and grip, reads as untouched.

Factory New wear: float 0–0.07

The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Memorial is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.

Origin of the skin

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Bronze, gold, brown and muted grey stickers match the engraved panels and concrete tone. Holo or gold stickers in warm shades work well on the pale receiver, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the restrained palette.

What to check before buying

• Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the pale finish shows each step of wear clearly.
• Look at the receiver edges, scope rings and grip, as these parts lose paint first.
• Make sure the bronze engraved panels on the receiver and stock are intact on the copy you choose.
• Check applied stickers and a name tag, and whether you want the StatTrak™ version.

Who the Factory New quality suits

• Collectors who want the light-and-bronze design without any marks.
• Sticker crafters who need a clean pale base for warm-toned stickers.
• The choice for buyers who value a spotless finish above saving money.
