Skin overview

This Gunsmith finish turns the SSG 08 into a pale stone-coloured rifle with bronze engraved inserts on the receiver and stock. In Minimal Wear any marks sit on the very edges and are hard to spot in game. The look is practically the same as the cleanest grade, usually at a lower cost.

Item type: sniper rifle. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver and handguard are covered in an off-white, slightly mottled finish that imitates concrete, with dark cut-outs along the handguard left visible. Bronze panels with engraved relief sit on the side of the receiver around the magazine area and on the stock, giving the rifle its warm accent.

Small scuffs may appear on the sharpest edges of the receiver and the scope rings. The flat surfaces and the bronze panels stay clean. At normal distance in game the difference from Factory New is hard to notice. The grip and stock still look fresh.

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Bronze, gold, brown and muted grey stickers match the engraved panels and concrete tone. Holo or gold stickers in warm shades work well on the pale receiver, while bright neon colours tend to clash with the restrained palette.
