Show allAllSkin overview
SSG 08 | Parallax is a dark custom paint job covered in small red and cyan marks set slightly apart, which gives the rifle a shifted, double-image look. Grey-white stripes run across the stock and stand out against the near-black base. In Factory New the fine marks keep sharp edges and the stripes stay crisp, so the offset effect reads clearly.
Item type: sniper rifle. Restricted sits in the middle of the rarity scale: noticeably rarer than Mil-Spec, yet not truly rare.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
Other qualities of this skin: Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
Appearance in Factory New
The barrel, receiver and handguard are finished in near-black with small red and cyan marks placed slightly out of line, which creates the offset, double-image effect. The receiver side carries white inserts and small light markings that break up the dark surface.
The paint is intact on every part, including the muzzle and stock edges. The red and cyan marks keep clean, sharp outlines, and the stock stripes have full contrast. In game the offset scatter is clearly visible on the barrel. Nothing on the rifle looks used.
Factory New wear: float 0–0.07
The whole float range of Souvenir SSG 08 | Parallax is 0–1; Factory New takes the 0–0.07 segment (7% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Operation Broken Fang Collection with 17 skins in total.
The source is Operation Broken Fang Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in red, cyan, white or black match the scattered marks and the dark base. Glitch-style or holographic stickers along the receiver side or barrel echo the offset effect, while bright warm colours outside the palette tend to clash.
What to look at before you buy
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, because the light stock stripes show scuffing earlier than the dark base.
- Inspect the muzzle and barrel edges, as these lose paint first.
- Look at the stock in inspect mode to see how much contrast the stripes have kept.
- Note any stickers or name tag already applied and whether they suit the red and cyan scheme.
Who the Factory New quality suits
- Collectors who want the offset scatter and stock stripes in their sharpest form.
- Sticker crafters who need a clean base for a red, cyan or white craft.
- The grade for buyers who want the pattern without any compromise.
