Show allAllSkin overview
The skin is easy to spot by its cracked-wood surface with turquoise veins running across every part of the Tec-9. Minimal Wear keeps the crack pattern intact, and the few marks that appear sit mostly on edges where they blend into the rough wood texture. It looks practically the same as a fresh copy in game while usually being the more relaxed choice.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.
Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.
The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.
How the skin looks in Minimal Wear
The whole Tec-9 is painted in a warm brown texture with fine grain and light speckles that imitates aged wood. A network of bright turquoise cracks runs across the receiver, the perforated barrel shroud, the long magazine and the grip, forming irregular cells like dried, split timber.
Light marks may appear on the muzzle and on the edges of the shroud holes. They are small and mostly hidden by the grainy wood texture. In game the skin looks the same as Factory New. The magazine, grip and the crack pattern remain clean.
Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Cracked Opal is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). The lower the float within the range, the cleaner the surface looks and the higher a copy is usually priced.
Origin of the skin
Souvenir Tec-9 | Cracked Opal belongs to The Spectrum 2 Collection, which holds 17 skins.
It drops from Spectrum 2 Case.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Turquoise, teal and gold stickers echo the opal cracks and the warm wood tone. Earthy browns and stone-like designs fit the ancient theme, and placing them on the receiver side keeps the magazine pattern visible.
What to check before buying
- Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the shroud holes and magazine base show the difference first.
- Look at the turquoise cracks on the receiver sides to see how bright the opal still is on this copy.
- Inspect applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the cracked surface reads.
- For StatTrak™ or Souvenir copies, make sure the extra elements suit the look you want.
Who the Minimal Wear quality suits
- Players who want a near-fresh look without chasing the cleanest grade.
- Sticker crafters, since the crack pattern stays intact under any placement.
- A sensible balance of clean appearance and cost.
