Skin overview

This Tec-9 is defined by its wood-like brown base and the cyan cracks that cover it like veins of stone. A Well-Worn copy has noticeable scuffs on the protruding parts, and the paint thins out around the barrel shroud and the bottom of the magazine. The weapon reads as a genuinely old object, with the turquoise still visible on the flat surfaces.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Well-Worn

The whole Tec-9 is painted in a warm brown texture with fine grain and light speckles that imitates aged wood. A network of bright turquoise cracks runs across the receiver, the perforated barrel shroud, the long magazine and the grip, forming irregular cells like dried, split timber.

Wear spreads from the shroud and magazine edges onto the raised parts of the grip and receiver. Metal shows through in patches, and the cracks there look faded and broken. In game the pistol reads as heavily aged, though the pattern is still recognisable. The central flat areas of the receiver and magazine hold the clearest turquoise.

Well-Worn quality — float range 0.38–0.45

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Cracked Opal ranges from 0 to 1; the Well-Worn quality covers 0.38–0.45 — 7% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Spectrum 2 Collection with 17 skins in total.

It drops from Spectrum 2 Case.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Turquoise, teal and gold stickers echo the opal cracks and the warm wood tone. Earthy browns and stone-like designs fit the ancient theme, and placing them on the receiver side keeps the magazine pattern visible.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check where the float sits within the wear range, since the shroud holes and magazine base show the difference first.
  • Look at the turquoise cracks on the receiver sides to see how bright the opal still is on this copy.
  • Inspect applied stickers and the name tag, as they change how the cracked surface reads.
  • For StatTrak™ or Souvenir copies, make sure the extra elements suit the look you want.

Who the Well-Worn quality suits

  • Players who prefer a clearly old, weathered pistol.
  • Budget buyers who still want the recognisable cracks.
  • A good fit for those who value character over cleanliness.
