Souvenir Tec-9 | Isaac (Field-Tested)

Skin overview

Isaac is recognisable by its red accent lines running along the receiver and the red band at the base of the magazine on a dark body. In Field-Tested the red begins to thin on the edges of the barrel shroud and receiver, while the overall pattern stays readable. The skin keeps its sci-fi character but looks used rather than new.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

Appearance in Field-Tested

The whole pistol is painted in a dark graphite grey with a slightly matte look. The perforated barrel shroud carries red accents between and around the holes, and red diagonal stripes run along the receiver toward the rear sight.

Wear spreads along the edges of the barrel shroud holes, the top of the receiver and the lower edge of the magazine, where the red starts to lose density. The dark base shows lighter rubbed spots on raised areas. The grip sides and the central parts of the stripes still look fairly clean, so the pattern reads well in game.

Field-Tested quality — float range 0.15–0.38

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Isaac ranges from 0 to 1; the Field-Tested quality covers 0.15–0.38 — 23% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The skin’s collection is The Huntsman Collection with 20 skins in total.

It drops from Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black, white or holographic red stickers continue the scheme of Tec-9 | Isaac without breaking it. Placing them on the receiver along the red stripes or on the magazine near the red band keeps the composition tidy.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the red stripes show scuffs earlier than the dark base.
• Look at the barrel shroud holes and the magazine base, as these areas lose paint first.
• Make sure any applied stickers fit the red and graphite scheme, because mismatched colours stand out on this simple design.
• Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version and check the name tag if one is applied.

Who should buy Field-Tested

• Players who want the recognisable red-and-graphite look for everyday matches.
• Buyers who do not mind light wear on edges.
• In short: a balanced option for regular play.
