Souvenir Tec-9 | Isaac (Minimal Wear)

Skin overview

The skin is built on a simple pairing of charcoal grey and signal red, laid out as technical stripes and markers across the whole pistol. In Minimal Wear the graphics look practically the same as on a fresh copy, with only faint marks on the sharpest edges visible up close. For most buyers it reads as a clean Isaac at a lower grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Mil-Spec Grade is the lowest rarity found in cases and the most common one among them.

Custom Paint Job: hand-painted across the whole body; this is the type where wear shows most, the artwork rubs down to metal.

The remaining qualities of this skin: Field-Tested and Well-Worn. The same quality also exists as the StatTrak™ version.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The whole pistol is painted in a dark graphite grey with a slightly matte look. The perforated barrel shroud carries red accents between and around the holes, and red diagonal stripes run along the receiver toward the rear sight.

Light specks may appear on the sharpest edges, such as the front of the barrel shroud and the bottom corner of the magazine. The red stripes and markers remain whole and saturated. At normal distance in game it is hard to tell apart from Factory New.

Minimal Wear quality — float range 0.07–0.15

The float of Souvenir Tec-9 | Isaac ranges from 0 to 1; the Minimal Wear quality covers 0.07–0.15 — 8% of this skin’s scale. Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Where the skin comes from: collection and case

The source is Huntsman Weapon Case (on sale since Jun 11, 2014).

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Stickers and crafts

Red, black, white or holographic red stickers continue the scheme of Tec-9 | Isaac without breaking it. Placing them on the receiver along the red stripes or on the magazine near the red band keeps the composition tidy.

What to look at before you buy

• Check where the float sits within the wear grade, since the red stripes show scuffs earlier than the dark base.
• Look at the barrel shroud holes and the magazine base, as these areas lose paint first.
• Make sure any applied stickers fit the red and graphite scheme, because mismatched colours stand out on this simple design.
• Decide whether you want the StatTrak™ or Souvenir version and check the name tag if one is applied.

Who the Minimal Wear quality suits

• Players who want a clean-looking Isaac without paying for the top grade.
• Sticker crafters, since the differences from Factory New are barely visible in game.
• In short: a practical choice for a near-fresh look.
