Show allAllSkin overview
Field-Tested Tec-9 | Perimeter shows the grid pattern with the first clear signs of use along the receiver edges and the top line of the frame. The orange and red dots still stand out against the grey, so the multicolored look is preserved at normal viewing distance. The finish starts to feel more like a used tool than a fresh print.
Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.
Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.
Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.
Appearance in Field-Tested
The receiver, frame and grip are covered in a fine grid of small grey Xs, squares and dots, with orange and red marks scattered across it. A thin technical line drawing sits on the lower receiver above the trigger guard.
Scratches become visible along the receiver edges, the top of the frame and the corners of the grip. Small parts of the grid fade, but the coloured dots on the flat sides of the receiver remain clear. In game the pattern still reads as a multicolored grid. The central part of the receiver and the line drawing stay mostly clean.
Field-Tested wear: float 0.15–0.38
The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Perimeter is 0–1; Field-Tested takes the 0.15–0.38 segment (23% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.
Origin of the skin
The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.
Souvenir version
This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.
Which stickers suit it
Stickers in orange, red or muted grey tones match the warm accents of the grid. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the dense pattern readable around them, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the finish.
What to look at before you buy
- Check the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and frame show the difference first.
- Look at the line drawing on the lower receiver, as it is one of the first details to lose clarity.
- On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the gun and how they sit on the receiver.
- Look for applied stickers or a name tag that may change how the item fits your loadout.
Who the Field-Tested quality suits
- Players who want the multicolored grid to read in game at a lower cost.
- Those who like a lightly used look on a pistol.
- A practical option for everyday play.
