Skin overview

This wear of Tec-9 | Perimeter keeps the grey grid with its small coloured marks almost intact. The difference from Factory New is limited to faint scuffs on a few edges, which are hard to spot in game. It suits a buyer who wants a clean-looking pattern without paying for the top grade.

Item type: pistol. The weapon is available only on the Terrorist side. Industrial Grade is the second tier from the bottom: common skins from drops and collections.

Gunsmith: several techniques combined on one item; some parts rub off, others only dull.

Other qualities of this skin: Factory New, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred.

How the skin looks in Minimal Wear

The receiver, frame and grip are covered in a fine grid of small grey Xs, squares and dots, with orange and red marks scattered across it. A thin technical line drawing sits on the lower receiver above the trigger guard.

Faint scuffs may appear on the sharpest receiver edges and the front of the shroud. The grid, the coloured marks and the line drawing remain intact on all flat surfaces. At normal distance it is practically indistinguishable from Factory New. The grip and magazine still look clean.

Minimal Wear wear: float 0.07–0.15

The whole float range of Souvenir Tec-9 | Perimeter is 0–1; Minimal Wear takes the 0.07–0.15 segment (8% of the scale). Within the range, copies with a lower float look cleaner and are valued higher.

Origin of the skin

The skin’s collection is The Spy Tech Collection with 17 skins in total. It does not drop from a case: the collection has none — such skins come from operation drops, souvenir packages or the market.

Souvenir version

This is the Souvenir version: such copies dropped to tournament viewers in souvenir packages; the team stickers and signatures on them cannot be removed or chosen. Souvenir items never carry StatTrak™. There is also the regular version without tournament stickers.

Which stickers suit it

Stickers in orange, red or muted grey tones match the warm accents of the grid. Placing them on the flat side of the receiver keeps the dense pattern readable around them, while bright cold colours tend to clash with the finish.

What to look at before you buy

  • Check the float position within the wear range, since the edges of the receiver and frame show the difference first.
  • Look at the line drawing on the lower receiver, as it is one of the first details to lose clarity.
  • On Souvenir copies, check which pre-applied stickers are on the gun and how they sit on the receiver.
  • Look for applied stickers or a name tag that may change how the item fits your loadout.

Who should buy Minimal Wear

  • Players who want a near-clean look without paying for the top grade.
  • Sticker crafters, since the flat surfaces stay intact.
  • A sensible balance between appearance and cost.
